UPDATE!!!

For those of you who have been following our blog or are at all interested in our little lives, we have some great news! We have been selected for an adoption placement by an AMAZING girl named Rachel, and her little baby girl will be born in February!

We were first contacted by Rachel in August, and we quickly learned that we all had a lot in common. We fell in love with her instantly, and soon learned from her that she too felt that this was right for all of us. What a miracle!! We have emailed back and forth and have even had the great opportunity to visit with her and her mom on the phone once, but have not been fortunate enough to meet her in person yet. We’re hoping to be able to do that in the next couple of weeks though, and we can’t wait! She is so special to us and we feel so lucky and blessed.

Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us and sent sweet messages to let us know you were thinking about us. We feel your love and are so happy to have a wonderful support system around us. We’ll keep you all posted as things move along, but just know that we are thrilled down to our toes and we thank Rachel from the very bottom of our hearts!

  5. February is a fun month for a baby, just ask Sarah!! Congrats! Wasn't the home study, the background check & the fingerprinting fun? Did it make you guys feel a little like a criminal? It did us, but just for a minute.
