Christmas Time Update!!!
Recently we took a little trip to California to take a little Christmas cruise (another post for another time), but on the way down we were able to stop in St. George and spend some time with our birth mom, Rachel. It’s been really fun getting to know her and her family, and we just love her more and more. We went to lunch and just chatted for a while and were able to see that she’s just getting a lovely little round belly! Her due date is February 12th and we’re getting so excited! It’s all starting to feel very real and creeping up so quickly and there are still a million things to do! But most of all we want to express our deep gratitude and love for Rachel and for birth moms everywhere for their selflessness and courage. May God bless and comfort them always.

ReplyDeleteBecause we had an open adoption, Steph is able to have contact with her birth mom, Robyn. It has been a blessing to her (and us) during her trying teenage years.
