LOTOJA 2010

On September 11th Josh competed in the LOTOJA classic again. This is his 2nd time doing the entire race, last year doing half of a relay. It is a single day 206 miles road cycling race, with three separate mountain passes, and a total elevation climb of roughly 9,500 feet.

He did much better than his first year, but did not get the time or place wanted. Shooting for a 10 hour 30 minute finish, and actually rolling in at 10 hours 51 minutes. Which was a 30 minute improvement from 2008.

It was a lot of fun, and all a welcome excuse to stop at Bubba's BBQ for some sweet grub. Next year he is taking a welcomed break, and Julie is grateful!

One minute before takeoff, just happen to be about 35 degrees outside.
Josh and his Team RYGO doing all the work, pulling all 50 of his start group from Logan to Preston.
Julie and Josh's sister Emily, the super great support crew.

At the finish line, metal and all.
And the final much needed Julie hug!
