New Bikes for the Family...

I (Josh) registered for and was again selected to ride in the LOTOJA Classic this year in September. And due to the generosity of family and friends, have had some money gifted for graduating. What better than to commemorate your graduation than with a new racing bike!

This nice little ditty is produced by a small independent shop in San Louis Obispo, CA. Shipped fully assembled straight from the shop. I just finished all the small little adjustments and added pedals and a computer, and boy is it good lookin'! The bike is full carbon fiber, with full SRAM Force components and drive train, if you really wanted to know. And man, o , man is it light! 16.9 lbs. light to be exact!

Still have yet to get it out and on the road for some serious mileage, but I am pretty sure it will make me fly!

And this little number is Julies new starter bike! Over the winter Julie has taken a liking to spinning class, and thought it might be even better on a bike that moves. So we found her a nice last years model at a local bike shop. I switched out the stock wheel set for a nice fast set of Neuvation wheels. It still needs a few little upgrades over time, and it is great bike, and looks liek a million bucks! And Jules is loving it! Independent of my influence....
