Lotoja is a one day cycling race from Logan to Jackson, hence the name Lo-to-ja. It spans a total of 206 miles, 2 major mountain passes, and a total elevation gain of about 3,700 feet.
In 2008 I (Josh) completed the entire race, packing about 1,500 miles of training miles to prepare. I finished with a total completed time of 11 hours and 17 minutes, placing 4th in his category. But this year was meant to be a bit more casual, so I entered as a 4 man relay team, still ending up with an 80 mile leg. Even though I only trained about an 10th of what I did last year, it still went well and our entire team finished.
Julie has been super supportive in helping me in this addictive little hobby. And trying to finish this race in part or its entirety would be impossible without support. It also helps that she is so freakin' good lookin'! The best reward for both of us after the race has been going to Bubba's Barbecue, so very good!
On a side note Julie and I went for a 13 mile ride last week, and I think I may have her hooked!
The entire Team RYGO at the starting line.

Our sweet metals!

This is the Kozy Cabin we stayed in at the Jackson KOA, as you can guess this was the cheapest place to stay and it was still quite pricey.
